For many years I have heard about Uganda with its beautifull nature, lovely people and nice weather. And I was very pleased when my wife wanted to go there.

So, said and done. In July 2016 we decided to buy the tickets. We planned the trip together with another family, the Lindahls.

And in December it was time for us to leave cold Sweden for warm Uganda. And indeed it was warm and perfect weather.

Thanks to our driver and guide, Kenneth and Lillian we had a perfect trip, well almost. But we did really enjoy it. So please go ahead, let you be amazed by the beauty of the colorful birds of Uganda.

We did spot in total a 250 different species of birds but, the most intresting was that we could see the Gorillas in Bwindi's inpenetrable forest, the misty mountains.

Among the highlights are Handsome Frankolin, Stripe-breasted Tit, Regal Sunbird as well as Red Crimsonwing.
